This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee contracts and proposals to support SAIC's Army Navy Business Group.
• Draft, negotiate, approve, and manage government contracts in line with company policies, legal standards, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with business development and government clients to shape, influence, and navigate intricate regulatory landscapes, including FFP EO and RFO frameworks.
• Analyze complex legal and contractual issues and resolve them through innovative solutions and negotiation tactics.
• Assess changes to proposals, provide briefings to program teams on contractual baselines, and deliver risk assessments to leadership.
• Examine contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policy, government standards, requirements, and master agreements.
• Counsel program management on contractual rights and obligations, interpreting terms and conditions.
• Serve as the primary contact for the organization concerning contracts or projects.
• Coordinate with senior personnel both internally and externally across various organizations.
• Create innovative solutions to complex challenges in alignment with organizational goals.
• Assist with commercial endeavors and complex Firm Fixed Price defined delivery tasks.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage Cost Reimbursable, Time and Materials, Firm Fixed Price, and multiple Task Order contracts.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage teaming agreements and proprietary information agreements.
• Gather and submit data for regulatory compliance reporting.
• Develop and oversee OCI Plans.
• Mentor members of the contract team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with fifteen (15) years or more of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with thirteen (13) years or more of experience; or a PhD or JD with ten (10) years or more of experience.
• Additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• No clearance required to start; ability to obtain a Secret clearance is necessary to maintain employment.
• US citizenship is required.
• Experience in cost proposal development.
• Familiarity with CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, T&M, and commercial contracts.
• Experience with OTAs, CSOs, BPAs, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding and broad application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration.
• In-depth knowledge of industry practices.
• Expert understanding of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including RFO, FAR, DFARS, TINA, and CAS.
