This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Oversee the comprehensive pricing process for proposals, from the initial solicitation review and strategic planning to the final submission of cost volume.
• Develop and sustain audit-ready Excel models that encompass labor, indirect costs, escalation, fees, and subcontractors.
• Interpret and apply FAR Part 31, 2 CFR 200, and relevant agency guidelines to ensure pricing is compliant and responsive.
• Collaborate with program, business development, contracts, HR, and finance teams to convert staffing and level of effort into budget estimates.
• Validate rates and assumptions, incorporating subcontractor proposals and necessary flowdowns.
• Assist in crafting cost narratives and conducting final proposal assessments, focusing on cost realism, technical alignment, and mathematical accuracy.
• Enhance pricing templates, tools, and procedures.
• Aid in audits, negotiations, and post-award evaluations.
• Contribute to FP&A initiatives, including budget-to-actual variance analysis and providing pricing data for financial planning purposes.
• Manage multiple deadlines while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of direct pricing experience for federal and/or state government contracts.
• Proficient in advanced Excel, with the ability to create intricate, multi-variable pricing models.
• Knowledgeable about FAR Part 31 and 2 CFR 200, with experience across various contract types (cost-reimbursable, T&M, fixed price).
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to excel in a collaborative, deadline-oriented proposal environment.
• Preferred pricing experience in health-focused programs.
• Familiar with GSA Schedules and contract types such as IDIQs/GWACs is a plus.
• Experience in supporting audits and indirect rate activities (e.g., DCAA) and/or competitive price-to-win strategies is preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as GovWin IQ, Salesforce, SharePoint, Power BI, and/or Deltek Costpoint is advantageous.
• Some exposure to FP&A concepts or processes is preferred.
• Must be currently eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• All work must be conducted within the continental U.S. throughout the duration of employment, unless specified by contract.
• Must be able to work core hours aligned with Eastern Time, unless otherwise approved by management.
