This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer business drivers and the motivations behind their decision-making.
• Link technology solutions, including the Everpure portfolio and ecosystem offerings, to quantifiable customer business outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to formulate strategies for enhancing customer experience and driving revenue growth.
• Showcase the benefits of Everpure solutions.
• Enhance sales strategies and tactics while taking on technical responsibilities.
• Offer technical guidance and domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings.
• Oversee evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
• Gather requirements and convert customer business needs into effective solutions.
• Draft responses for RFI and RFP requests.
• Seek opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
• Advocate for roadmap and planning discussions.
• Work in tandem with product and technical marketing on whitepapers and web presentations.
• Monitor competitor activities and sustain distinct solution positioning.
• Keep abreast of market trends and promote technical thought leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior pre-sales experience is essential.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications is required.
• Preferred experience in supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
• Profound knowledge of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
• Familiarity with contemporary web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out versus scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture.
• Previous experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Experience in contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
• In-depth knowledge of storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Experience in installing/configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage subsystem architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
• Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking principles.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is an advantage.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
• Familiarity with storage-intensive applications, including structured databases such as SQL and Oracle, is highly desirable.
