This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer business drivers and their decision-making motivations.
• Link Everpure and ecosystem technology solutions to quantifiable customer business outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to devise customer strategies that stimulate revenue growth and generate new business.
• Showcase the benefits of Everpure solutions.
• Enhance sales strategies and tactics while taking charge of technical responsibilities.
• Offer technical leadership and domain expertise regarding storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, as well as competitive DAS, NAS, and SAN solutions.
• Oversee evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Develop and present technical product and architecture presentations for customers and potential accounts.
• Gather requirements and convert customer business needs into innovative solutions.
• Draft responses for RFI and RFP requests.
• Seek out opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
• Advocate for roadmap and planning discussions.
• Work with product and technical marketing to create materials that support alliances.
• Keep an eye on competitors and ensure accurate differentiated solution positioning.
• Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to foster thought leadership.

• A BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical degree, and/or equivalent experience.
• Pre-sales experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, encompassing technology, design, and communications.
• Preferred experience in supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
• Profound understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture, including the LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture.
• Prior experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Experience in contributing significantly to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
• Extensive knowledge of storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Native architecture, on-premises environments, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
• Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Experience in installing/configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage subsystem architectures, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
• Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is an advantage.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is beneficial.
• Knowledge of storage-intensive applications such as structured databases, SQL, and Oracle is highly preferred.
