Product Specialist – Functional QA, Pre-Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and execute test cases and regression suites for NetSuite, as well as web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

• Conduct comprehensive testing of business scenarios from the initial source transaction to the impact on the general ledger.

• Document clear and reproducible defects, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and approve releases.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of products to effectively represent the user perspective.

• Identify usability issues and discrepancies in processes, contributing to requirements development.

• Develop demo environments and corresponding data.

• Provide scenario-based product demonstrations to potential clients and partners in collaboration with the sales team.

• Address functional inquiries during sales processes and RFPs.

• Create user guides, release notes, and training materials.

• Assist with customer onboarding and user acceptance testing (UAT).

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in ERP functional consulting, functional or business QA, or a product specialist position.

• Practical experience with Oracle NetSuite, including core records and transactions, workflows, saved searches, roles and permissions, OneWorld, multi-currency, and sandbox utilization.

• Strong grasp of comprehensive business processes, including supply chain (procure-to-pay, inventory, warehouse, and fulfillment), logistics (shipping, transport, and delivery), accounting (order-to-cash, record-to-report, tax, month-end close), people operations (time, expenses, HR, and payroll), and project accounting.

• Methodical QA methodology: test planning, test case design, regression practices, and well-documented defects, utilizing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Ability to confidently present a product to senior business stakeholders and respond to live questions.

• NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant); experience with SuiteApp, ISV, or SaaS products.

• Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, conference room pilots, or demonstrations.

• Proficiency in API testing (Postman), basic SQL or SuiteQL, and test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, or Appium).
