This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer business drivers and their decision-making motivations.
• Link Everpure and ecosystem technology solutions to quantifiable customer business outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to foster a unified customer experience and promote revenue growth alongside new business opportunities.
• Demonstrate the benefits of Everpure solutions.
• Enhance sales strategies and tactics while overseeing technical responsibilities.
• Provide technical leadership and domain expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, as well as DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings.
• Direct evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and present technical product and architecture presentations to customers and potential accounts.
• Gather requirements and translate customer business needs into innovative solutions.
• Draft responses for RFI and RFP submissions.
• Facilitate interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation initiatives.
• Advocate for roadmap and planning discussions.
• Work alongside product and technical marketing to generate whitepapers and web presentations.
• Analyze competitors and maintain a distinct solution positioning.
• Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to enhance thought leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Prior pre-sales experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must reside in the Albany, NY area.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications is required.
• Experience in enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales is preferred.
• Profound understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture, including the LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Experience in contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
• Extensive knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, on-premises and public cloud, provisioning automation, and containerization.
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Proficiency in installing/configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage subsystems, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
• Familiarity with VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking is essential.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
• Understanding of storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
