This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer businesses and their decision-making factors.
• Link technology solutions, including the Everpure product line and ecosystem technologies, to quantifiable customer results.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop customer strategies that foster revenue growth and generate new business.
• Provide technical leadership and possess domain expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, as well as DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings.
• Oversee evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and present technical product and architecture presentations.
• Gather customer requirements and transform business needs into innovative solutions.
• Spot opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
• Advocate for roadmap and planning discussions.
• Work in conjunction with product and technical marketing to develop whitepapers and web presentations.
• Keep an eye on competitors and ensure differentiated solution positioning.
• Foster thought leadership regarding market trends and the competitive landscape.

• Pre-sales experience is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, encompassing technology, design, and communications.
• Preferred experience in supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
• Deep knowledge of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out versus scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture.
• Prior experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Experience in significantly contributing to or leading RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
• Comprehensive understanding of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Experience in installing and configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage subsystem architectures, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Native architecture, on-premises environments, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
• Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as structured databases, SQL, and Oracle is highly sought after.
