This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage GitLab Self-Managed and Dedicated environments, encompassing installation, upgrades, backup and restore, user and group administration, runners, Geo replication, and performance optimization.
• Spearhead enterprise migrations to GitLab from platforms such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or SVN.
• Utilize Congregate and direct transfer methods for migrations.
• Implement GitLab reference architectures.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines incorporating SAST, DAST, dependency, and container security scanning.
• Integrate compliance frameworks effectively.
• Configure and deploy the GitLab Duo Agent Platform (DAP).
• Develop and tailor agents and workflows.
• Facilitate AI-assisted development processes and provide guidance to customers on governance and adoption.
• Offer customer-facing advisory services, documentation, and knowledge transfer to agency teams.
• Conduct workshops, cutovers, and deployments in secure environments.
• Operate according to defined statements of work, scope and estimate tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with the GitLab Professional Services team following GitLab's established methodology.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Proven GitLab administration experience in a production setting (Self-Managed or Dedicated).
• Expertise in designing, executing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines at an enterprise level.
• Strong consulting skills: effective written and verbal communication, ability to lead customer meetings, and disciplined approach to defined scopes.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for workshops, cutovers, and secure facility engagements.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.
• The candidate must possess an active DoD clearance at the time of application.
• Applications from candidates without an active clearance will not be considered.
• Top Secret clearance is preferred and highly desirable.
• GitLab certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform in production is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure in a DevSecOps context is preferred.
• Previous experience in federal, defense, or intelligence community programs is preferred.
• Experience with GitLab Duo, DAP, agentic AI, or AI-assisted development adoption is preferred.
• Background in security scanning toolchains, STIG compliance, or cATO frameworks is preferred.
• Direct enablement from GitLab.
• Training on GitLab Professional Services delivery methodologies and tools.
• A clearly defined path to obtaining GitLab certifications.
• Engage in cleared, high-impact projects across DoD, Intelligence Community, and civilian federal clients.
• Chance to establish INflow's GitLab practice from the ground up as a founding member.
