Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available Azure infrastructure for core platform services and AI workloads utilizing Terraform.

• Configure, secure, and manage MCP servers along with related AI integration points for enterprise applications.

• Develop and operationalize AI-enabled engineering assistants, workflow automation, infrastructure insights, and incident-response support mechanisms.

• Employ LLMOps/GenAIOps practices for assessment, monitoring, logging, cost management, and access control.

• Execute and enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines alongside DevSecOps methodologies.

• Take ownership of observability and reliability for AI and platform services by applying SRE principles, SLOs, incident response, and blameless postmortems.

• Collaborate with the Lead AI Platform Engineer to realize the AI platform roadmap and reusable engineering patterns.

• Assess and facilitate the adoption of GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot, and various AI development tools.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, manage and prioritize tasks in Jira, and influence release planning and architectural decisions.

• Participate in on-call rotations while providing Level 3 support for production platforms and AI systems.

• Contribute to the creation of internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure, encompassing infrastructure as code, networking, identity/access management, DNS, and load balancing.

• Practical, hands-on experience in applying AI, GenAI, or automation tools to engineering workflows, developer productivity, or production systems.

• Advanced skills in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in scripting or programming languages including Python or PowerShell.

• Comfortable utilizing Jira and Agile workflows.

• Strong comprehension of secure and compliant engineering practices, covering secrets management, access controls, auditability, and risk-aware implementation.

• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to adapt messaging for both engineering and business audiences.

• Experience in healthcare technology, regulated SaaS, or environments governed by HIPAA / HITRUST / SOC 2 is a plus.

• Direct experience with MCP server implementation or administration is advantageous.

• Experience in cloud cost optimization or enterprise platform modernization is desirable.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
