This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop the technical framework of Kraken's internal AI platform, encompassing both the integration surface and the production runbook.
• Identify and address capability gaps by assessing vendors or creating solutions in-house.
• Manage the governed integration gateway, which includes onboarding connectors, authentication processes, reliability, and vendor escalation.
• Create internal tools such as agent scaffolding, reusable skills and prompt assets, evaluation harnesses, provisioning automation, and integrations with systems of record.
• Configure and manage tiered AI expenditure controls, including caps, alert notifications, exception queues, monthly reconciliations, and risk mitigation for cap automation.
• Implement technical safeguards for data management, retention, and model eligibility.
• Integrate identity systems, SSO, SCIM, role- and tier-based entitlements, and model-specific workspace configurations.
• Collaborate directly with teams to comprehend workflows and develop or configure enabling solutions.
• Conduct technical enablement through detailed tool rollouts, model-release office hours, and technical knowledge base content.
• Oversee the enterprise AI ecosystem comprehensively, including model activations, feature enablement, deprecation, provisioning queues, vendor setups, and seat true-ups.
• Collaborate within Enterprise Transformation and across various Kraken teams.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS administration for 1,000+ seats, preferably including an AI or LLM platform.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy functional software.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language.
• Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, containers, and secrets management.
• Experience integrating with LLM and SaaS APIs.
• Practical knowledge of agent and tool utilization patterns, including MCP or equivalent tool-calling architectures.
• Understanding of Okta or a similar identity provider, OAuth, SCIM, SSO, and federated machine identity.
• Comprehension of intake queues, service level agreements (SLAs), runbooks, and escalation practices.
• Capability to articulate technical functionalities to compliance teams, traders, and backend engineers.
• Strong written communication skills for creating technical documentation, runbooks, and policy pages.
• Ability to discern essential capabilities from demonstrations that are likely to be abandoned.
• Nice to have: Experience establishing an internal developer or AI platform, including self-service and guardrail components.
• Nice to have: Exposure to FinOps or software asset management.
• Nice to have: Experience with low-code or workflow automation platforms.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, or JSM.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with regulated industry audits and evidence work in financial services.
