📋 Description

• Develop and enhance platform infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, and GCP, ensuring that environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable.

• Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines from start to finish, ensuring that builds, tests, and deployments are swift, reliable, and secure.

• Manage the observability stack, which includes metrics, logging, and distributed tracing.

• Establish and uphold SLOs for latency, availability, and error rates.

• Oversee capacity management to remain within defined SLOs.

• Lead incident response efforts by triaging and resolving intricate production issues.

• Conduct blameless post-mortems and implement corrective actions as code.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams to eliminate manual tasks and streamline the process from code to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience managing production systems with an SRE focus: SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction, and blameless post-mortems.

• Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures (either GCP or AWS), including networking, IAM, and managed services.

• Proven deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes at scale, encompassing cluster design, networking, storage, and security.

• Proficient in a modern programming language such as Typescript, Go, Python, or Rust, with a solid track record of developing well-tested automation.

• Experience in managing mission-critical operational tooling, including centralized logging or APM (e.g., Datadog, Splunk).

• Capability to communicate technical concepts effectively to the broader team and influence how other engineers develop and maintain their services.
