This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.
• Develop and enhance platform infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, and GCP.
• Take full ownership of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring builds, tests, and deployments are efficient, reliable, and secure.
• Manage the observability stack, which includes metrics, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Establish and uphold SLOs for latency, availability, and error rates.
• Oversee capacity management to ensure compliance with SLOs.
• Lead incident response by diagnosing and resolving complex production challenges.
• Conduct blameless post-mortems and implement corrective actions as code.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to minimize manual labor and expedite the process from code to production.
• Practical experience managing production systems with an SRE perspective: SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction, and blameless post-mortems.
• Strong understanding of contemporary cloud architectures (GCP or AWS), including networking, IAM, and managed services.
• Proven deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes at scale, focusing on cluster design, networking, storage, and security.
• Proficient in a modern programming language such as Typescript, Go, Python, or Rust.
• A history of creating well-tested automation.
• Experience in owning critical operational tooling, such as centralized logging or APM (e.g., Datadog, Splunk).
• Capability to convey technical concepts to the broader team and influence how other engineers develop and operate their services.
