This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Provide physician education through the established HistoSonics professional education pathway, which encompasses didactic instruction, hands-on system training, ultrasound education, simulation, case-based learning, observation, and various experiential learning activities.
• Instruct physicians on the Edison System technology, including its functionality, setup, operation, treatment planning concepts, procedural workflow, and appropriate technology usage.
• Offer expert hands-on ultrasound education focused on image acquisition, image optimization, anatomy identification, treatment planning, and image-guided workflows.
• Tailor instruction according to the physician's specialty, clinical experience, technical skills, and demonstrated understanding while adhering to established learning objectives and training standards.
• Deliver clear, actionable coaching and feedback that enhances physician knowledge, confidence, and proficiency with HistoSonics technology.
• Cultivate and sustain expert-level knowledge of the Edison System, its software, accessories, ultrasound integration, imaging principles, treatment workflow, and related clinical workflows.
• Address common system, ultrasound, and training-environment challenges and appropriately escalate any technical or clinical issues.
• Facilitate physician programs, workshops, simulation labs, case observations, and faculty-led educational experiences at HistoSonics and various regional training locations.
• Collaborate with physician faculty and cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent, engaging, and clinically credible learning experience for physicians.
• Support trainer calibration and standardization across instructors and training locations.
• Convey insights from learners, faculty, and the field to enhance physician education programs and resources.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, allied health, life sciences, or a related clinical field; equivalent relevant clinical education and experience may be accepted.
• Over 5 years of experience in clinical education, medical device training, clinical practice, healthcare delivery, or a similar field.
• Proven ultrasound experience and the ability to independently teach ultrasound principles, image acquisition, optimization, anatomy recognition, and image-guided workflows is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in educating physicians or other healthcare professionals within a procedural or technology-based environment.
• Background in interventional radiology, surgery, operating room, imaging, or another image-guided procedural setting.
• Proven capability to learn, operate, troubleshoot, and teach complex medical technology.
• RDMS or another ultrasound-specific clinical credential is strongly preferred.
• Experience with imaging-based enabling technologies, robotics, navigation, visualization, interventional oncology, liver imaging, ablation, or other image-guided procedures is highly valued.
• Willingness to travel by air and automobile up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
