This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete cycle of physician and provider recruitment.
• Build, nurture, and enhance business relationships with AMSURG Practice Partners and the Operations Leadership Team.
• Assess physician volume and practice requirements to aid in the development of strategic recruitment initiatives.
• Propose strategies for recruitment, alignment, sourcing, interviewing, and contract finalization.
• Profile and advise practices upon the allocation of new opportunities.
• Stay informed about assigned practice markets, demographics, competitors, statistics, and licensing timelines.
• Ensure that physician compensation plans are competitive within the market.
• Identify candidates through cold calling, emailing, networking, specialty associations, recruiting resources, and residency/fellowship programs.
• Manage the journey of prospective physician and provider recruits from initiation to hire.
• Keep job descriptions and advertising promotions up to date.
• Provide insights and follow candidate-throughput processes.
• Discuss open positions with prospective candidates while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Engage in and oversee on-site practice interviews as necessary.
• Negotiate offers and assist in negotiations with prospective candidates.
• Ensure timely updates and communication to stakeholders during contract negotiations.
• Operate within the recruitment budgets allocated for open positions.
• Guarantee 100% compliance with candidate data entry in the proprietary database.
• Maintain industry knowledge through education, professional literature, networking, and professional organizations.
• Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, compliance mandates, and required training.
• Report any suspected violations of corporate compliance, policy, harassment, or prohibited activities.
• Seek clarification on policies through Compliance, Human Resources, or Legal resources when needed.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year institution, along with 7 or more years of relevant experience; or over 20 years of non-clinical recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Recruitment/Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Bullhorn.
• Understanding of the daily operations within the medical specialties and physician practices that AMSURG represents.
• Knowledgeable about the local and regional communities where AMSURG operates practices.
• Capable of effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure setting.
• Experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal, account management, and project management skills.
• Ability to make decisions in a rapidly evolving, professional, service-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment terminology, specialty terminology, and abbreviations.
• Awareness of physician compensation resources and trends, including MGMA, AGMA, and Sullivan Cotter guidelines.
