This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of essential employee lifecycle processes, including offboarding, role transitions, promotions, transfers, and other internal movements.
• Oversee employee inquiries and People Operations tickets, resolving complex issues independently and serving as an escalation point for operational challenges within designated areas.
• Manage recurring People Operations tasks such as leave and attendance management, localized benefits administration, payroll inputs and validations, employee documentation, and employment verification.
• Provide support to People Operations across India, the US, and EOR populations in alignment with business needs.
• Maintain process documentation, SOPs, trackers, and controls to ensure consistent and reliable execution.
• Lead or contribute to People Operations projects and initiatives based on business priorities.
• Analyze operational data, SLA trends, recurring issues, and process deficiencies to identify and drive opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance People Operations processes and workflows to minimize manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
• Collaborate with People Technology on HR system enhancements, integrations, testing, workflow modifications, and automation initiatives.
• Utilize AI and other technological solutions to optimize routine tasks and boost operational efficiency while ensuring appropriate management of employee and confidential data.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and People Technology, to address operational dependencies and enhance processes.
• Assist in the implementation and adoption of new or revised People systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data and lifecycle transactions across the HRIS and related People systems.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations, identify data discrepancies or operational risks, and drive timely resolutions.
• Ensure that assigned processes are executed in compliance with established SLAs, internal policies, controls, and relevant compliance requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, compliance reporting, and data requests by providing accurate records and documentation.
• Prepare and review recurring and ad hoc People Operations reports as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in People Operations, Employee Services, or a related HR function.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle and core People Operations processes.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Darwinbox, ADP, or similar systems.
• Experience supporting People Operations in India, along with familiarity or exposure to US and/or EOR operations.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex employee and operational issues with sound judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements, including the use of systems, automation, or workflow enhancements.
• Comfortable leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet established timelines and SLAs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Capability to work independently, navigate uncertainty, and make informed decisions within established policies and frameworks.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools such as Slack.
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS, technology-driven, or globally distributed organization is highly preferred.
