This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the HRIS and employee records, ensuring updates, audits, and reporting are conducted accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including managing enrollments, changes, acting as a liaison with vendors, and addressing employee inquiries.
• Support payroll functions by preparing and verifying data, tracking timesheets, and coordinating with the payroll service provider.
• Manage tracking of leaves and accommodations, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave types.
• Generate standard HR reports and dashboards that reflect metrics such as turnover, headcount, new hires, and diversity statistics.
• Facilitate ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• Keep People policies, procedures, and the employee handbook up to date.
• Support the rollout of policies and related training sessions.
• Assist in HR projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
• Provide administrative and operational assistance throughout the employee lifecycle, encompassing talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, benefits and payroll support, HRIS data integrity, employee communication, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with employees, managers, and stakeholders across North America during US business hours.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or an administrative role that supports HR functions.
• Knowledge of ATS systems (e.g., Workable) is preferred.
• High proficiency with Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with the Rippling HRIS system is essential.
• Strong understanding of employment-related documentation and basic compliance (I-9, W-4, state reporting).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Good understanding of compliance regulations in the US and Canada.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment is required.
• Availability to work during US business hours is necessary.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
