People Ops Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop and continuously enhance the onboarding process from the moment an offer is accepted through the initial ramp-up period.

• Establish an employee hub that provides essential information and resources.

• Create foundational People policies, documentation, and operational frameworks.

• Identify shortcomings throughout the employee lifecycle and evaluate what should be created, improved, or eliminated.

• Leverage AI and automation in various People initiatives.

• Develop self-service tools and resources to streamline People administration.

• Monitor employee feedback and detect issues proactively.

• Collaborate with the VP of People on new initiatives and trials.

• Take ownership of the execution required to transform ideas into functional employee tools.

• Evaluate the existing onboarding and People infrastructure within the first 30 days.

• Roll out a version 1 onboarding experience within 60 days.

• Launch a centralized People hub along with a prioritized infrastructure roadmap within 90 days.

• Report directly to the VP of People and operate autonomously across the organization.

• Strong ability to think systemically.

• Active engagement with AI in work, demonstrating examples of creations, automations, or significant changes enabled by AI.

• Capability to build systems from the ground up while adhering to fundamental principles.

• Ability to work independently and propel projects forward without needing detailed guidance.

• Strong instincts regarding product development, focusing on intuitive and beneficial employee experiences.

• Proficiency in simplifying processes.

• Comfort with rapid movement, experimentation, and iteration.

• Enthusiasm for innovation within the people domain.

• Relevant exposure to People practices.

• Previous experience in People Operations is preferred, especially in roles functioning as a small or sole People function.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
