This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Authorise, review, and verify intricate and manual calculations for precision and compliance.
• Provide assistance to colleagues facing technical inquiries and challenging pension administration scenarios.
• Oversee escalations, complaints, urgent cases, and complex customer inquiries until they are resolved.
• Aid Team Managers and Senior Pensions Technicians in achieving operational goals and service targets.
• Assess quality benchmarks and offer constructive feedback.
• Guide, mentor, and provide technical assistance to Trainee Pension Administrators and Pension Administrators.
• Contribute to training delivery and the professional growth of colleagues.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives.
• Recognize complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
• Assist in planning and prioritizing workloads to adhere to service standards and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and suggest efficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to pension scheme regulations, legislation, regulatory obligations, and client procedures.
• Operate within KPIs, quality standards, and service level requirements.
• Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective communication throughout the broader team.
• Demonstrated experience in pension administration, with a solid understanding of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
• Proficient in reviewing and authorizing pension calculations, including complex and atypical cases.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions and the ability to confidently and accurately apply scheme regulations.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or assisting with the development of colleagues.
• Exceptional attention to detail, quality management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong numerical skills and confidence in performing and validating manual calculations.
• Experience in managing escalated cases, complaints, and complex customer queries.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and dedication to supporting colleagues and the success of the team.
• Proficient IT skills, including experience with pension administration systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Security Check (SC) Clearance is required as part of the onboarding process.
• Typically, candidates must have resided continuously in the UK for the last five years to qualify for SC Clearance.
