Senior Pega Constellation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and improve Pega applications in accordance with business needs, architectural standards, and security requirements.

• Collaborate with architects, quality assurance teams, and business stakeholders to create and maintain enterprise Pega solutions.

• Diagnose production issues and resolve any defects.

• Engage in release processes and ensure compliance with Pega guardrails and best practices.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Constellation.

• Share implementation patterns, troubleshooting strategies, and best practices with Pega developers and architects.

• Oversee daily Pega development tasks, including configuration, enhancements, defect resolution, and production support.

• Develop and enhance functionalities using Pega Flows, Activities, Data Pages, and Connectors.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and development best practices.

• Collaborate with solution architects on design, security, and integration standards.

• Assist in application demonstrations, sprint reviews, and stakeholder walkthroughs.

• Take part in test execution, defect resolution, and release support.

• Work alongside DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in IT.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega development, focusing on implementation, enhancement, and production support.

• Extensive practical experience in developing Pega applications using the Constellation architecture and design system.

• At least one production deployment utilizing Constellation.

• A minimum of 1 year of recent hands-on experience with Constellation development is highly preferred.

• Experience in implementing and extending Pega Customer Service or other Pega Applications using Constellation.

• Proficiency in configuring and customizing standard UI patterns and functionalities.

• Strong grasp of modern web application development principles.

• Capability to troubleshoot Constellation UI behavior using browser developer tools.

• Experience with React, component-based UI development, or Constellation DX components is strongly preferred.

• Ability to address production issues, resolve defects, support releases, and uphold Pega guardrails and performance best practices.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery, collaborative solution design, DevOps practices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD environments.

• Experience providing Pega solutions in large, complex enterprise or government settings is preferred.

• Certified as either a CSSA or LSA.
