This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer regular and off-cycle US payroll, which involves gathering payroll inputs and calculating payroll to guarantee timely compensation for employees.
• Ensure that payroll transactions adhere to internal policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Execute timely tax payments and submit necessary documentation.
• Provide backup assistance to team members and engage in knowledge sharing.
• Maintain process documentation while proposing enhancements for efficiency and systems optimization.
• Promptly address and resolve employee and stakeholder inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with other departments on payroll-related projects and initiatives.
• Assist with Canada payroll processing as required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, management, or equivalent professional payroll training/coursework.
• Over 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Knowledge of US payroll tax laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices relevant to payroll.
• Proficiency in auditing payroll records and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in managing the implementation of defined actions and tracking completion with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work during Eastern Standard hours.
• E-Verify employment authorization in the United States.
