This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute both standard and non-standard payroll runs for designated employee groups.
• Independently oversee timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and audits prior to and following each pay cycle.
• Detect and address payroll discrepancies with minimal supervision.
• Ensure the maintenance of precise employee payroll records.
• Collaborate with HR and Benefits to coordinate payroll modifications for new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
• Address employee questions related to pay, taxes, and deductions.
• Assist in quarterly and year-end payroll compliance tasks, including tax submissions and W-2 preparation.
• Aid in pinpointing and documenting enhancements to payroll processes and controls.
• Mentor and assist colleagues who are earlier in their careers.
• Comprehensive understanding of payroll practices.
• Proficient in executing both standard and non-standard payroll runs.
• Experience in managing timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments.
• Capability to perform payroll reconciliations and audits effectively.
• Skilled in maintaining accurate payroll records for employees.
• Familiarity with payroll taxes, deductions, tax submissions, and W-2 preparation.
• Ability to handle moderately complex inquiries related to employee payroll.
