This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Manage and execute comprehensive semi-monthly payroll for employees in the U.S. and Canada.
• Provide supplementary support for international payroll operations in Mexico and the UK.
• Assess payroll data, timesheets, and system entries for accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any related issues.
• Assist the Accounting Team with payroll general ledger queries.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile journal entries and reports associated with payroll.
• Produce payroll reports that include tax, benefits, overtime, and various payroll metrics.
• Support year-end activities such as W-2 distribution, international tax submissions, and statutory reporting.
• Aid in RSU transactions and payroll items related to equity within the ADP system.
• Collaborate with global HR and Finance teams to enhance payroll processes and pinpoint opportunities for automation and improved efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, as well as international labor and tax laws.
• 5–7 years of payroll experience with practical involvement in both U.S. and international payroll systems.
• Strong proficiency with ADP systems (Workforce Now or similar).
• Hands-on experience with general ledger reconciliations, accounting workflows, and payroll reporting.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and reconciliation tasks.
• Knowledge of payroll reporting tools.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities within tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Workday or other HCM platforms that integrate with ADP (preferred).
• Familiarity with international payroll systems, vendor management, or mobility-related tax/payroll aspects (preferred).
• Understanding of equity payroll processes, including RSUs and stock-related transactions (preferred).
• Must possess authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies regulated under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
