This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary, +2 more countries.
• Manage, prepare, review, and execute precise payroll processing for the UK.
• Compile, validate, and send payroll data to the external payroll provider in line with schedules and payroll calendars.
• Collaborate with the external payroll provider to track service level agreements (SLAs) and oversee payroll cycles.
• Assist with annual processes, payrolling benefits, salary sacrifice schemes, and system configurations.
• Serve as a primary contact for inquiries regarding employee compensation.
• Work alongside both internal and external Workforce Administration teams through case management systems to address escalations.
• Evaluate, document, and enhance payroll procedures.
• Utilize Excel/Google Sheets formulas and AI tools to promote automation, data validation, and ongoing improvement.
• Monitor case volumes, resolution metrics, and service-level performance.
• Comply with UK payroll regulations, tax laws, National Insurance standards, company policies, and the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Complete mandatory compliance training punctually.
• Demonstrated experience in UK Payroll Operations, either in-house or with a vendor.
• Extensive technical understanding of UK tax calculations.
• Familiarity with National Insurance (NI) standards.
• Experience with salary sacrifice schemes.
• Proficient in system and wage type setup.
• Knowledge of payroll project management.
• Practical experience with core HRIS, preferably Workday.
• Familiarity with case management platforms, ideally ServiceNow.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets formulas.
• Innovative mindset towards utilizing AI for automation, data validation, and precision.
• Proven skills in root-cause analysis and conflict resolution.
• Experience in customer-facing communication.
• Capability to perform well under pressure.
• Ability to foster partnerships across cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to adjust priorities to accommodate changing business requirements.
