This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Full ownership of a portfolio of strategic partnerships with LLMs, Hyperscalers, AI developer tools, data platforms, and niche providers to address product gaps.
• Conduct market analysis and due diligence, focusing on quantitative support for new partnerships and market entries.
• Structure and negotiate deals, including term sheets, revenue sharing, data licensing, API integration, and pipeline and revenue commitments.
• Enhance and elevate Mixpanel's presence among our latest strategic partners, fostering alignment up to and including C-level relationships.
• Collaborate closely with Channel & Enablement teams to ensure seamless transitions as needed for go-to-market execution, including co-selling efforts, joint pipelines, and co-marketing initiatives aimed at revenue generation or brand enhancement.
• Manage inbound partner inquiries efficiently—screen quickly, direct appropriately, and avoid distractions.
• Command the attention of cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal, to finalize and activate partnerships.
• Develop and implement tailored playbooks with partners, ensuring aligned and committed outcomes rather than merely repeating past strategies for collateral development, account mapping, and team socialization.
• Partner with marketing and demand generation teams to initiate partnerships and campaigns that enhance awareness and drive pipeline growth.
• Articulate and promote the value proposition with partners, detailing our collaborative efforts, their significance, and the stakeholders who should be interested; while Product Marketing provides support, this responsibility rests with you.
• Over 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years specializing in strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or corporate development; experience at a hyperscaler, high-growth SaaS company, or a background in consulting/banking prior to becoming an operator is preferred.
• Proven track record of closing structured deals: you’ve negotiated terms rather than merely maintaining relationships.
• Proficiency in the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Supabase) and the AI developer ecosystem (LLM platforms, agentics frameworks, vibe-coding tools, MCP Servers).
• Technically adept enough to engage in credible discussions with a Chief Product Officer or platform team; commercially savvy enough to close deals; your role is not merely to arrange meetings.
• A strong sense of urgency and prioritization; quick qualification, clear points of view, and avoidance of committee-style thinking.
• Outstanding communication skills; capable of producing executive-level deliverables that are focused on outcomes, backed by data, and ready for decision-making.
• Practical experience with AI; you’ve progressed beyond chat interfaces to build, ship, or even break something in the process. You understand the developer experience when evaluating a platform and can engage in credible technical discussions as a result.
• Ability to thrive and create structure amid ambiguity; our impact is broad and strategic—you need to translate company objectives into actionable initiatives and articulate that connection clearly; you won’t have a quota or systems to rely on.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to command a room and foster alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales/GTM, Legal, and Channel teams.
• Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental Care.
• Mental Wellness Benefit.
• Generous Vacation Policy & Additional Company Holidays.
• Enhanced Parental Leave.
• Volunteer Time Off.
• Additional US Benefits: Pre-Tax Benefits including 401(K), Wellness Benefit, Holiday Break.
