Senior Oracle Fusion PPM Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the business systems lead and a subject matter expert for Project Management and Services Delivery business processes.

• Assist with new or updated software systems, business processes, production issues, and approved enhancements.

• Oversee and coordinate application upgrades, patches, enhancements, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure adherence to best practices, governance standards, and system security while keeping documentation updated.

• Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications for the PMO, Services Delivery, and associated organizations.

• Engage with stakeholders to identify and outline improvements to systems and processes.

• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations with Financials, HCM, Sales, Contracts, Payroll, and reporting platforms.

• Provide operational and project support for application configuration, business process improvements, and change management.

• Analyze project management and services delivery processes for opportunities in automation, standardization, and operational enhancement.

• Design and configure solutions that enhance project execution, resource utilization, financial management, and services delivery.

• Supervise application data quality and collaborate with Corporate Analytics on dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence efforts.

• Create and deliver end-user training while providing ongoing operational support.

• Report system issues to vendors and work together on resolving defects and enhancing products.

• Facilitate UAT, develop user procedures and documentation, and assist with organizational change management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Oracle Fusion or Oracle EBS in supporting enterprise business applications, particularly in project-based and professional services processes.

• Hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM), including design, configuration, testing, implementation, and/or production support.

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion PPM features such as Project Management, Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Resource Management.

• Solid understanding of project financial processes, encompassing project setup, labor and time collection, project costing, billing, revenue, and financial reconciliation.

• Experience in translating business requirements into functional designs and application configurations for Oracle Fusion.

• Knowledge of supporting integrations between Oracle PPM and other enterprise functions, including HCM/Time and Labor, Payroll, Financials, Contracts, CRM, and reporting.

• Experience in supporting federal government contracting or government services organizations.

• Understanding of federal contracting concepts impacting enterprise systems, including contract and task structures, funding, labor charging, project costing, indirect costs, billing, revenue, and compliance-driven financial controls.

• Experience implementing or supporting Oracle Fusion PPM within a federal contractor, government contractor, or similarly complex project-based services environment.

• Experience in participating in or leading a transformation from Oracle EBS Projects to Oracle Fusion PPM.

• Experience serving as a functional lead or Senior Business Systems Analyst throughout requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
