Senior Operations Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide support to East Region program managers in the capacity of a Senior Operations Finance Analyst.

• Act as a reliable finance partner for Operations.

• Conduct financial analyses for clients and programs, focusing on revenue, labor, and expenses.

• Assist with program budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Offer support for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to programs.

• Prepare financial analyses that guide business objectives and program management efforts.

• Aid the operations team in their forecasting processes.

• Collaborate with program managers to evaluate labor costs and program budgets.

• Oversee program data management and perform financial analyses, including forecasting.

• Execute variance analyses and reconciliations in relation to forecasts and contractual program budgets.

• Serve as a liaison between Operations and Corporate Business/Finance to address inquiries and resolve issues.

• Compile budget analyses and comparisons, offering risk-mitigation recommendations.

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reporting, interpret results, and suggest actions.

• Contribute to process enhancements and improvements in system functionalities.

• Create process documentation and identify dependencies downstream.

• Collaborate with program managers to establish key financial metrics.

• Support the standardization of processes and management initiatives.

• Uphold organizational integrity by maintaining confidentiality of information.

• Maintain regular communication with program managers and cross-functional partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is required.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and financial modeling.

• Experience with ERP/financial systems, budgeting, and forecasting tools is preferred but not mandatory, depending on the specific position.

• Must meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with relevant federal, state, and local transportation regulations when applicable.

• Authorization to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support is essential.
