Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable finance partner and leader for designated shared services teams, providing financial analysis related to revenue, labor, and expenses.

• Oversee the monthly closing process and make necessary accruals and reclassification entries.

• Perform variance analysis and reconciliations with respect to forecasts and annual plans.

• Offer insightful analysis and recommendations for risk mitigation.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to formulate budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure alignment with annual plans.

• Develop financial models and execute ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

• Analyze results and advise management on appropriate actions.

• Serve as a communication link between shared services teams and Corporate.

• Lead the annual strategic planning process.

• Keep historical financial records and analyze trends to guide budgetary policies.

• Prepare monthly financial review packages for management's consideration.

• Provide commentary on variances compared to plans, forecasts, and previous year results.

• Assist management in initiatives such as process standardization.

• Ensure confidentiality and undertake other tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred, along with equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing month-end closing processes with precision and efficiency.

• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and financial modeling.

• Preferred: Experience with ERP/financial systems, budgeting, and forecasting tools (e.g., Adaptive) as defined by the specific role.

• Must have authorization to work in the country where the position is based without employer sponsorship or assistance.

• Successful candidates must complete pre-employment background checks.
