Senior Operational Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee operational excellence initiatives across multiple business domains (2+).

• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams and develop improvement portfolios.

• Implement 10–12 significant operational transformation programs each year.

• Achieve tangible efficiency enhancements and ongoing cost reductions.

• Address complex operational issues from identification to execution.

• Manage relationships with stakeholders, dependencies, resources, and timelines effectively.

• Design integrated and replicable solutions across different domains.

• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and proprietary operational excellence methodologies.

• Mentor and coach stakeholders and team members on advanced methodologies.

• Make informed strategic decisions using first-principles thinking and risk assessment frameworks.

• Develop communication strategies to influence department heads and VP-level stakeholders.

• Identify workflows that can benefit from AI-assisted tools and agents.

• Create and refine AI tools, agent workflows, and agent competencies.

• Revamp processes to integrate human judgment, automation, quality, adoption, and sustainability.

• Guide stakeholders on responsible automation practices.

• Lead cross-functional projects across various departments and promote adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred; a Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related area is advantageous.

• Certification in one or more advanced methodologies such as Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Advanced Lean, PMI advanced credentials (PgMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Prosci Change Management.

• 8+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, program management, or similar positions.

• At least 3 years of program leadership experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification from an accredited organization, Lean Master certification, or PMP with multiple completed process projects.

• Proven track record of leading large-scale operational transformation programs across multiple domains with measurable results sustained over 18+ months.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with complex operational performance data.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills with department heads, executives, and senior leadership.

• Expertise in cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in technology or product organizations with a focus on product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

• Advanced knowledge of operational excellence frameworks, structured problem-solving, and business process optimization.

• Familiarity with enterprise operational tools and systems, including performance measurement, process mapping, analytics, program management, and dashboards.

• Expertise in change management and organizational development.

• Experience collaborating with senior leadership, particularly VP-level executives.

• Demonstrated experience in applying AI to the redesign of operational workflows or the adoption of automation.

• Ability to understand AI limitations and guide stakeholders on practical applications and safeguards.

• Remote team members must reside and work in the United States, excluding territories, and possess reliable high-speed internet access.
