This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Implement sales strategies by promoting existing and prospective oncology therapeutics.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of product clinical effectiveness and provide necessary clinical support/information.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas.
• Perform business analysis and seek out new opportunities within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate account strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Recognize key accounts and healthcare professionals while creating penetration plans.
• Craft customer-tailored pre- and post-call plans with clear objectives, inquiries, and supporting materials.
• Foster customer loyalty and establish new connections.
• Persuade decision-makers with focused sales messages grounded in precise clinical information.
• Utilize approved sales and marketing resources and implement local marketing initiatives.
• Partner with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team members and counterparts to exchange ideas and insights.
• Keep abreast of specialty products and the related clinical, technical, and health economics landscapes.
• Comprehend the healthcare delivery system within each account, including the roles of physicians, pharmacy staff, and clinical nursing personnel.
• Stay informed about reimbursement practices, sales potential, patient demographics, managed care organizations, specialty pharmacies, protocols, and treatment methods.
• Attend mandatory sales meetings and fulfill required training obligations.
• Organize and manage compliance with healthcare regulations, expense reporting, call documentation, and other administrative duties.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Experience in oncology specialty sales and/or sales experience with major hospital accounts.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
• At least two years of direct selling experience in the pharmaceutical or biologic/biotech sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, or relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in hospital and large account sales is preferred.
• Understanding of intricate reimbursement and managed care dynamics.
• A documented history of successful sales achievements in a competitive setting.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to identify key decision-makers.
• Strong drive to meet and surpass goals.
• Must reside in the assigned geography or be willing to relocate.
• Proficiency in utilizing virtual technology effectively.
• Experience engaging customers in virtual face-to-face interactions.
• Preferred: Experience in Solid Tumor, Urology, and/or rare disease specialty sales, along with knowledge of the Oncology market.
• Preferred: Prior product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
