Senior Oncology District Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Oncology Sales Specialists

• Implement effective performance management strategies

• Lead the Oncology sales team in executing the sales plan

• Maximize product distribution and market penetration in accordance with guidelines, policies, and directives

• Consistently apply established employee management policies and procedures

• Achieve or surpass sales targets

• Coordinate sales strategy operations and manage activities to optimize brand objectives across sales and marketing

• Assist the team in strategizing and executing territory business plans for Oncology products

• Develop strategic plans and guide the team to achieve sales outcomes within a designated budget

• Foster a high-performing, motivated, and engaged team

• Cultivate individual talent and oversee performance management

• Engage with internal and external customers to shape the business for the benefit of appropriate patients

• Operate in the field with minimal supervision, adapting to changes as necessary

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory and promotional guidelines


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is essential

• At least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience

• A minimum of five (5) years of sales or cross-functional experience in significant commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sectors

• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others towards success

• A valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty (50) United States

• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 40%, which may include overnight or weekend travel

• Preferred: Experience in Oncology, hospital and/or large account sales, and navigating complex reimbursement challenges

• Preferred: Previous experience in people management overseeing a mid-sized team or completion of a Management Development Program

• Preferred: Proficiency in high-level planning, organizing, and business planning

• Preferred: Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI

• Preferred: Experience in building team AI literacy and confidence, promoting responsible and trustworthy AI use and sound judgment
