This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Oncology Sales Specialists.

• Implement effective performance management strategies.

• Oversee the Oncology sales team in executing the sales plan.

• Optimize product distribution and market reach in accordance with company guidelines and policies.

• Ensure the consistent application of established employee-management policies and procedures.

• Achieve or surpass sales targets.

• Formulate sales strategies and oversee activities to enhance brand objectives across sales and marketing.

• Assist the team in developing and executing territory business plans for Oncology products.

• Create strategic plans and guide the team to achieve sales results within a designated budget.

• Cultivate a high-performing, motivated, and engaged team.

• Foster individual talent development and manage performance.

• Engage with internal and external customers effectively.

• Operate in the field with minimal supervision and adapt swiftly to changes.

• Adhere to pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory and promotional guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of sales or cross-functional experience in key commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry.

• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others towards success.

• Possession of a valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty (50) United States.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 40%, including overnight and weekend trips.

• Preferred: Experience in Oncology, hospital and/or large account sales, and navigating complex reimbursement issues.

• Preferred: Previous people management experience overseeing a mid-sized team or completion of a Management Development Program.

• Proficiency in high-level planning, organizing, and business planning.

• Demonstrated commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI.

• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence, promoting responsible AI use and sound judgment.
