This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Drive the strategic implementation across a diverse territory or multi-state area.
• Enhance relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders to promote understanding and appropriate application of Exelixis oncology therapies.
• Utilize advanced analytics and market insights to optimize territory strategies and influence internal planning processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions that address clinical, operational, and access challenges.
• Advocate for field perspectives in brand planning and contribute to innovative tactical approaches.
• Recognize emerging trends, competitive challenges, and unfulfilled needs.
• Exemplify compliance, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Spearhead pull-through initiatives in collaboration with access and reimbursement teams.
• Act as a field-based representative for product launches, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, integrated delivery networks, and institutional decision-makers.
• Assist regional leadership in business planning, training, and performance assessment.
• Mentor junior team members and disseminate best practices.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• BS/BA degree in a relevant field with 9 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree in a relevant field with 7 years of experience; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in oncology sales.
• Experience with product launches is mandatory.
• Proven ability to manage relationships and prioritize customer focus.
• Skill in persuading others through the presentation of complex clinical data.
• Strong capabilities in business planning.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
