This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Drive the strategic execution within a complex territory or across multiple states.
• Enhance relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders to promote the appropriate use of Exelixis oncology therapies.
• Utilize advanced analytics and market insights to adjust territory strategies and impact internal planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address clinical, operational, and access challenges.
• Convey field insights in brand planning and contribute to innovative tactics.
• Identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and unmet needs within the designated territory.
• Lead strategic initiatives alongside access and reimbursement teams.
• Act as a field-based ambassador for product launches, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, integrated delivery networks, and institutional decision-makers.
• Assist regional leadership in business planning, training, and performance evaluation.
• Mentor junior team members and disseminate best practices.
• Independently implement sophisticated account strategies and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
• Exemplify compliant, professional, and ethical interactions with healthcare professionals.
• BS/BA degree in a relevant field with 9 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with 7 years of experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology sales is required.
• Experience with product launches is essential.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
• Strong persuasive skills for presenting complex clinical information.
• Solid business planning skills are necessary.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Proficiencies in relationship management, customer focus, teamwork, communication, influence, and persuasion.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% of the time.
