This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.
• Plan and implement activities for migrating Datadog organization/account.
• Transfer monitors, dashboards, SLOs, log pipelines, indexes, archives, and retention settings.
• Assist in the migration of Datadog integrations, agents, API keys, RBAC, SAML/SSO, and SCIM configurations.
• Utilize the Datadog API, CLI, and Terraform Datadog Provider to streamline migration processes.
• Ensure the accuracy of migrated monitoring, observability, and security configurations prior to cutover.
• Provide support for AWS and Kubernetes/EKS integrations.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to guarantee migration precision and operational readiness.
• Diagnose migration challenges and assist in stabilization efforts.
• Over 7 years of experience in Observability, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• More than 5 years of practical experience with Datadog implementation, administration, and migration.
• Demonstrated expertise in Datadog organization and account migrations, encompassing parent/child and multi-organization setups.
• Strong proficiency with Datadog API, CLI, and Terraform Datadog Provider.
• Practical experience with Datadog monitors, dashboards, SLOs, Agents, APM, and distributed tracing.
• Familiarity with Datadog Log Management, including pipelines, indexes, archives, and retention settings.
• Experience in integrating Datadog with AWS, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.
• Knowledge of RBAC, SAML/SSO, SCIM, and API/Application key management, including rotation and access controls.
• Background in CI/CD and automation integrations.
• Datadog Certified Professional (preferred).
• Experience with Datadog Partner or consulting work (preferred).
• Familiarity with enterprise observability architecture (preferred).
• Experience with Datadog Synthetics, Private Locations, and CSPM/security monitoring (preferred).
• Knowledge of PagerDuty, Slack, ServiceNow, and webhook integration (preferred).
• Experience in validating monitoring parity in dual-running environments prior to cutover (preferred).
