This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.
• Plan and carry out migration activities for Datadog organizations/accounts.
• Transition monitors, dashboards, SLOs, log pipelines, indexes, archives, and retention settings.
• Assist in the migration of Datadog integrations, agents, API keys, RBAC, SAML/SSO, and SCIM settings.
• Utilize Datadog API, CLI, and Terraform Datadog Provider to facilitate automated migration processes.
• Confirm the accuracy of migrated monitoring, observability, and security settings prior to cutover.
• Provide support for AWS and Kubernetes/EKS integrations.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to guarantee migration precision and operational readiness.
• Diagnose migration-related issues and assist in stabilization efforts.
• Over 7 years of experience in Observability, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in Datadog implementation, administration, or migration.
• In-depth practical experience with Datadog administration.
• Demonstrated experience with migrations of Datadog organizations and accounts.
• Familiarity with Datadog parent/child organization or multi-org migration processes.
• Proficient in using Datadog API, CLI, and Terraform Datadog Provider.
• Extensive experience with Datadog monitors, dashboards, SLOs, agents, APM, and distributed tracing.
• Background in Datadog Log Management, covering pipelines, indexes, archives, and retention settings.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS integrations.
• Experience in RBAC administration, SAML/SSO, SCIM implementations, and management of API/Application keys, including rotation and access controls.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automation integrations.
• Datadog Certified Professional certification is a plus.
• Background in Datadog Partner or consultancy is desirable.
• Experience with enterprise observability architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with Datadog Synthetics and Private Locations is advantageous.
• Experience in CSPM and security monitoring is beneficial.
• Knowledge of integrations with PagerDuty, Slack, ServiceNow, and webhooks is favorable.
• Experience in validating monitoring parity in dual-running environments before cutover is a bonus.
