Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs that drive enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Create scalable, secure Node.js microservices and integrate with the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Construct modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Design CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures that manage sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant components of the architecture and deploy production code utilized by enterprise clients.

• Manage systems comprehensively and contribute to the growth of the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production settings.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Familiarity with backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for enterprise API security.

• Proven track record with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and schema performance at scale.

• Proficient in Git workflows, code reviews, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services, and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Experience with Salesforce ISV/AppExchange products is a plus.

• Vue.js experience, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is preferred.

• Background in B2B SaaS for enterprise clients with SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR compliance is desirable.

• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains within the Salesforce ecosystem is advantageous.
