Senior Network & Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee enterprise firewall policies within a global framework.

• Manage the lifecycle of rules, conduct audits, optimize processes, and ensure governance.

• Provide support for routing and switching across campus, data center, and WAN environments.

• Administer and support enterprise wireless infrastructure alongside controller-based architectures.

• Act as a technical liaison between network and security functions.

• Take ownership of cross-team requests from start to finish to guarantee accountability and execution.

• Develop and sustain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.

• Minimize manual effort and enforce consistency in configurations.

• Manage and uphold network access control policies.

• Ensure that authorized devices and users have access to appropriate network segments.

• Contribute to network and security initiatives that facilitate global expansion, new site developments, and data center enhancements.

• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network and security incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with a leading enterprise Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) platform, including security policy management and network routing integration.

• Experience at an enterprise level with LAN/WAN, including high-density data center switching, campus switching, and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

• Background in designing, deploying, or managing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for device posture, authentication, and segmentation.

• Proficiency with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible or similar.

• Version control experience utilizing Git.

• CLI-first approach to network engineering.

• Proven experience in both network engineering and security engineering roles.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in enterprise network and/or security engineering positions.

• Active or recently held professional-level certifications in enterprise networking and/or enterprise firewall platforms are strongly preferred.

• Experience with centralized network management systems for extensive switch and wireless fleet management is preferred.

• Familiarity with controller-based and cloud-managed enterprise wireless architectures is preferred.

• Experience in cloud networking, including hybrid connectivity, cloud-native security enforcement, and network integration in a major public cloud environment; Azure is preferred.

• Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to multinational manufacturing operations is preferred.

• Willingness and capability to travel both domestically and internationally as required.

• Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures, as well as applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC laws.

• Ability to identify ITAR products and understand access restrictions for U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents.

• Must recognize Foreign Person visitors and adhere to authorization procedures.

• Understanding of export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S. and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
