Network Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Ensure the stability, availability, and integrity of voice, data, and wireless network services.

• Plan, design, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) across the organization and multiple campus locations.

• Engage in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of network hardware, software, and communication links.

• Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues promptly and accurately.

• Provide training to end-users as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, accompanied by 5 years of relevant experience and the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification, OR a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 10 years of related experience and the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification.

• Preferred: 5 years of experience in a senior Network Engineer role.

• Preferred: Certification as a Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator/Engineer.

• Preferred: Experience with Cisco ACI – Data Center Application Centric Infrastructure (DCACI).

• Preferred: Practical experience with IPv6.
