Senior Network Management Consultant – Behavioral Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Recruit and establish contracts with small to medium-sized behavioral health providers and facilities.

• Develop and negotiate contract terms.

• Build and sustain relationships with providers.

• Ensure strategic coverage for the designated territory.

• Educate behavioral health providers on relevant topics.

• Provide continuous support and services to providers.

• Assist with contracting or support services for larger or more complex behavioral health groups and facilities.

• Oversee modifications to contracts, including red-line changes, fee schedules, and adjustments to contract language.

• Support the Illinois market as well as the growth of national presence.

• Travel within designated areas of responsibility, including occasional overnight stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of provider contracting experience, or 7 years of business experience including 3 years in provider contracting.

• Familiarity with provider and facility contracting, product offerings, and claims processing systems.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Proficient in relationship building.

• In-depth knowledge of the marketplace.

• Capable of meeting deadlines and performing well under pressure.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel within assigned areas, including overnight stays.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge in Behavioral Health, including contracting, rate negotiation, modeling, and market analysis.

• Experience with regulatory requirements for state and federal filings.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, polished email and phone etiquette, and capacity to engage with senior leaders and executives.

• Advanced proficiency with high-volume Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, etc.
