Senior Network Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to pinpoint significant automation opportunities.

• Contribute to the advancement of network operations automation for global enterprises and managed service providers (MSPs).

• Guide customers in recognizing impactful automation targets through the analysis of ITSM data.

• Evaluate customer network technologies, existing playbooks, and design documents to develop automation solutions.

• Educate and mentor customer engineers to facilitate ongoing automation efforts on the NetBrain platform.

• Design and implement automation for essential network operations tasks utilizing Runbooks, Qapps, Dataviews, and integrations.

• Collaborate with vendor partnerships and explore public-domain knowledge to generate automation content.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in software development, network engineering, network automation, or similar roles.

• Comprehensive understanding of standard network tools, including Network Monitoring, Incident Management, Log Analysis, etc.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a knack for identifying issues and applying effective solutions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.

• Keen attention to detail and quality, committed to delivering dependable and efficient solutions.

• Willingness to travel as necessary for customer engagements and workshops.

• Manual Dexterity: Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers for computer use.

• Stationary Tasks: Capable of sitting for extended durations while maintaining a stationary position.
