Test Automation Specialist – TypeScript, QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E tests.

• Create test suites in TypeScript / JavaScript using ACIS v7.

• Implement Page Object patterns and Step Definitions.

• Configure and execute automated tests on Android and iOS devices.

• Collaborate with servers and device farms such as Galatea and Sauce Labs.

• Utilize AI tools and LLM-based agents to generate Cucumber scenarios, testing code, and selector mapping from user stories.

• Design and structure test plans in Jira / XRay.

• Define acceptance criteria and scenarios using BDD / Gherkin.

• Use JQL queries and XML extractions for test management.

• Incorporate accessibility (A11y) tests in web components.

• Validate compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Analyze execution traces and results using TestManager and Allure Reports.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure application quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in test automation.

• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Experience with E2E frameworks such as ACIS, WebdriverIO, or Cucumber / Pepino.

• Knowledge of BDD / Gherkin (Given-When-Then).

• Familiarity with the Page Object Pattern and service patterns like commonService.

• Experience in mobile testing on Android and iOS.

• Knowledge of Sauce Labs and/or Galatea, including capability configuration.

• Experience with Jira and XRay.

• Familiarity with Test Plans and JQL.

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and/or GitHub.

• Knowledge of Node.js and npm.

• Experience working with mocks and tools similar to BTGE mocker.

• Knowledge of architecture based on Web Components, including Lit, Polymer, and Cells.

• Experience or knowledge of microfrontends.

• Advanced handling of the DOM and CSS selectors.

• Experience working with data-test-id, Shadow DOM, and wrappers.

• Experience with AI agents and advanced prompts for automatic testing code generation.

• Preferred experience with LLMs applied to QA and automation.

• Preferred knowledge of A11y / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

• Preferred experience generating execution reports with Allure.

• Preferred experience with TestManager.

• Preferred knowledge of integrating testing tools into CI/CD processes.

• Preferred experience in agile teams and large-scale automation projects.
