Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Create and enhance SOAP and REST APIs in adherence to best practices and versioning standards.

• Implement unit tests and integration tests.

• Identify and resolve code issues through thorough root-cause analysis.

• Integrate various systems and services employing software design patterns.

• Review code from developers and provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Stay updated with new technologies and enhance existing solutions.

• Engage in CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment processes.

• Design solutions and assist the team in embracing new technologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with a diverse team spanning Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in actual production environments.

• Extensive knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server.

• Proficient in database design and optimizing database performance.

• Practical experience in developing SOAP and REST APIs.

• Capability to work with XML (including reading and writing XML data).

• Strong grasp of software design patterns and industry best practices.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Ability to thrive in multicultural, fast-paced teams.

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (preferred).

• Familiarity with specification-driven development (preferred).

• Exposure to Agile development methodologies (preferred).

• Understanding of contemporary software development techniques (preferred).
