Senior .NET Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services utilizing .NET Core along with the latest iterations of the .NET platform.

• Collaborate in the architectural design of new features and improvements to existing systems.

• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to development best practices such as SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.

• Implement and enhance observability solutions, which include metrics, logs, and traces.

• Utilize tools like Dynatrace to monitor application availability, health, and performance in a production environment.

• Engage with cloud infrastructure to support the deployment and management of services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with an emphasis on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Actively take part in Agile ceremonies, following either Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Conduct code reviews and foster the technical development of the team.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimization strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Backend Developer.

• Proficiency in .NET Core, .NET 8 or later, and C#.

• Experience in developing and integrating APIs.

• Understanding of unit testing and integration testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Dynatrace for monitoring applications, tracing, and performance evaluation.

• Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, especially GKE.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Understanding of asynchronous communication, queues, and messaging using technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and software engineering best practices.
