This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain, develop, and expand key brands with strategic national retail partners.
• Implement customer-focused strategies and tactical initiatives to meet sales and market share objectives.
• Identify potential growth opportunities and collaborate with teams in brand marketing, finance, supply chain, category management, and shopper marketing.
• Formulate and execute both short- and long-term account strategies aimed at achieving profitable growth.
• Enhance account knowledge and position products, programs, and promotions to optimize sales.
• Lead customer engagements, including new product launches, annual planning, and logistics management.
• Represent customer interests to internal leadership, influencing business strategies and launch support initiatives.
• Create and present sales presentations effectively.
• Follow up on sales services and explore new business opportunities.
• Oversee the customer account planning cycle.
• Develop, manage, and oversee the detailed account sales budget.
• Manage account program expenditures and advocate for cost-reduction initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive internal and external business reviews for accounts.
• Evaluate competitive pricing strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
• Generate new product concepts and launch plans in collaboration with product divisions.
• Oversee internal forecasting processes and create feasible business cases for customers.
• Collect and disseminate intelligence regarding product performance, customers, competitors, consumers, opportunities, pricing, promotions, and products.
• Manage account projects and provide mentorship to other Retail Account Managers.
• Direct daily activities and outcomes for a team of employees; may be involved in hiring, compensation recommendations, performance evaluations, training, development, and work assignment decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in direct sales and/or account management.
• Advanced understanding of sales acumen, trade, category management, and marketing principles.
• Capability to implement sales marketing strategies and tactics effectively.
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and developing presentations, recommendations, and business forecasts.
• Experience presenting to senior management or C-suite executives, including project plans and cost-benefit analyses.
• Ability to evaluate situations and take independent action when necessary.
• Strong time management skills, encompassing prioritization, organization, detail tracking, and meeting deadlines.
• Skill in collaborating with and guiding cross-functional teams to address complex challenges.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both within and outside the state.
