This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and implement account strategies and collaborative business plans for key Wholesale & Convenience customers.
• Be responsible for achieving sales, volume, distribution, and profitability objectives within the customer portfolio.
• Cultivate robust, multi-level relationships with significant customer stakeholders.
• Discover and secure new business prospects, including new clients, product listings, distribution channels, and portfolio expansion.
• Enhance the distribution of FXC’s core, strategic, and agency brands among wholesale, convenience, and cash & carry customers.
• Lead customer negotiations regarding pricing, promotions, product range, trading terms, and annual commercial agreements.
• Utilize sales data, category insights, consumer trends, and competitor activities to create compelling proposals for customers.
• Develop and oversee promotional and activation plans aimed at driving incremental sales and profitable growth.
• Maintain accurate forecasting for customers and SKUs by collaborating closely with Demand Planning and Supply Chain.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Customer Marketing, and Marketing to formulate plans that align with customer and brand goals.
• Partner closely with Commercial Finance to understand customer profitability and assess commercial investments.
• Remain informed about market and competitor developments, leveraging insights to pinpoint new opportunities.
• Represent FXC at customer meetings, trade events, and industry activities.
• Disseminate customer and channel insights with the broader Sales and Commercial teams.
• Take charge of projects and initiatives that enhance the ongoing growth of the Wholesale & Convenience channel.
• Demonstrated experience in national account management, preferably in FMCG, beverages, grocery, wholesale, or convenience sectors.
• Strong commercial and financial insight, with proficiency in interpreting sales data and comprehending customer profitability.
• Proven capability to establish and influence senior-level customer relationships and negotiate effectively.
• A solid history of driving sales growth through new business initiatives, distribution, listings, promotions, and customer development.
• Highly organized and analytical, equipped with strong forecasting, planning, and account management abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative and proactive, able to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Customer-focused and solutions-oriented, with the confidence to challenge and negotiate when necessary.
• A genuine interest in the beverage industry, brands, and the Wholesale & Convenience sector.
• WSET qualification or equivalent wine knowledge is desirable, though not mandatory.
