Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and create a dependable SDK for integration into mobile games and applications built on Unity.

• Develop and sustain native SDK components for both iOS and Android, in conjunction with the Unity integration layer.

• Establish SDK architecture, public APIs, integration patterns, and facilitate communication between Unity and native mobile components.

• Oversee the entire SDK lifecycle, from initial design and implementation to packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Guarantee compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and customer environments.

• Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and other engineers to make technical decisions and execute implementation.

• Anticipate technical risks and propose effective solutions while working independently without the need for close supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs utilized within Unity applications.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Unity SDK development.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in native mobile development.

• Strong grasp of Unity and the integration between Unity/C# and native mobile code.

• Professional background in native Android development using Kotlin.

• Professional experience with native iOS development utilizing Swift.

• Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging.

• Previous experience in leading or significantly owning an SDK initiative is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.

• A strong sense of ownership, intrinsic motivation, and the capability to work autonomously.
