Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a robust SDK for seamless integration into Unity-based mobile games and applications.

• Construct and manage native SDK components for both iOS and Android, along with the Unity integration layer.

• Establish the SDK architecture, public APIs, integration patterns, and communication pathways between Unity and native mobile components.

• Oversee the entire SDK lifecycle from initial design and implementation to packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Ensure compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and customer environments.

• Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and other engineers on technical decisions and execution.

• Proactively identify technical risks and provide practical solutions with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs utilized within Unity applications.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Unity SDK development.

• A minimum of 2 years in native mobile development.

• Strong comprehension of Unity and the integration between Unity/C# and native mobile code.

• Professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.

• Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Understanding of mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging.

• Previous experience in leading or significantly owning an SDK initiative is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.

• A high level of ownership, intrinsic motivation, and the capability to work independently.
