Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and create a dependable SDK for integration into mobile games and applications based on Unity.

• Develop and sustain native SDK components for both iOS and Android, alongside the Unity integration layer.

• Establish the SDK architecture, public APIs, integration patterns, and facilitate communication between Unity and native mobile components.

• Manage the SDK lifecycle from the initial design and implementation stages through to packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Ensure compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and customer environments.

• Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and fellow engineers on technical decisions and execution.

• Actively identify technical risks and propose practical solutions with minimal supervision required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in professional software development.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs for Unity applications.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Unity SDK development.

• At least 2 years of experience in native mobile development.

• Strong understanding of Unity and how it integrates with C# and native mobile code.

• Professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.

• Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging techniques.

• Previous experience in leading or taking significant ownership of an SDK initiative is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clarify technical decisions effectively.

• A high degree of ownership, self-motivation, and the capability to work independently.
