Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary dedicated engineer for the SDK.

• Take full ownership of SDK architecture, public API, releases, and partner experiences from start to finish.

• Design and create in-game placement components, facilitate app-to-app handoff, implement deep linking, and establish referral identifiers that persist through store visits and installations.

• Develop iOS and Android native bridges, manage IL2CPP, Gradle, and Xcode plugin integration, and ensure SDK compatibility within builds.

• Enforce constraints on size, cold-start times, and frame-rate budgets during Continuous Integration (CI).

• Manage versioning, UPM/Asset Store distribution, Unity LTS support, and migration strategies.

• Create the testing framework, which includes a sample game, cross-version build verification, integration tests, debug mode, and comprehensive documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience.

• Extensive experience with Unity/C# deployed to both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proven track record of building or significantly contributing to a library or SDK utilized by other developers.

• Understanding of API design principles and maintaining backward compatibility.

• In-depth knowledge of the Unity mobile build pipeline.

• Proficient in Kotlin/Java and Swift/Objective-C for constructing bridges and troubleshooting platform behavior.

• Strong skills in profiling disciplines.

• Excellent written English communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience with monetization SDKs, such as offerwalls, rewarded videos, or mediation.

• Preferred: Familiarity with attribution and deep-linking in a mobile measurement partner (MMP) context.

• Preferred: Background in mobile game development or live operations.

• Preferred: Experience dealing with reward-fraud issues.
