Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a dependable SDK for integration into mobile games and applications that utilize Unity.

• Construct and sustain native SDK elements for both iOS and Android alongside the Unity integration layer.

• Establish the SDK architecture, public APIs, integration patterns, and facilitate communication between Unity and native mobile components.

• Take ownership of the SDK lifecycle from the initial design and implementation phase through to packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Ensure compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and client environments.

• Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and fellow engineers on technical decisions and implementation strategies.

• Proactively identify technical risks and propose practical solutions while functioning with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs for use in Unity applications.

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in Unity SDK development.

• At least 2 years of experience in native mobile development.

• Strong comprehension of Unity and the integration between Unity/C# and native mobile code.

• Professional experience in native Android development utilizing Kotlin.

• Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Familiarity with mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging techniques.

• Prior experience in leading or taking significant ownership of an SDK initiative is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.

• A high level of ownership, intrinsic motivation, and capability to work independently.
